ELVO – HELLENIC VEHICLE INDUSTRIES (2020) S.A., one of the leading industries in the field of heavy-duty motor vehicle manufacturing, with many years of presence in the market and a commitment to innovation, quality and sustainable development, is looking for an Electrical Engineer- Defense & Automotive Systems, to join its team.  

The Electrical Engineer undertakes the study, design, optimization and creation of prototype electrical circuits for vehicles and vehicle bodies, in collaboration with the production, quality and procurement departments. The role is from design specification to production and testing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Study, design and development of products/components based on technical specifications.
• create and maintain technical documentation, BOM and similar.
• Work in accordance with military standards and use of CAD/CAE tools for design and simulation.
• Integrate electrical systems with mechanical and other components and teams.
• Participation in the improvement of existing products and production processes 
• testing, troubleshooting and verification of systems

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering from a university education.
• Knowledge of design programs (CAD / CAM etc.).
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical  vehicle systems and design.
• Team spirit, responsibility and consistency.
• Fluent in English 
• Practical experience in a similar position in vehicle industry-(at least 6 years). 
• Experience in military vehicles/defense- an advantage.
