ELVO – HELLENIC VEHICLE INDUSTRIES (2020) S.A., one of the leading industries in the field of heavy-duty motor vehicle manufacturing, with many years of market presence and commitment to innovation, quality and sustainable development, is looking for an Procurement and Supply Chain Specialist- Defense and Automotive, to join our team. 

The position undertakes the responsibility for supply of the necessary materials, raw materials, electrical and mechanical and other components, tools and machinery for their operation mainly for vehicle platforms.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• identify and evaluate new suppliers for specialized automotive component.
• Lead commercial negotiations to ensure optimal terms quality and lead time with timely 
• Involvement with import and export.
• Cooperation with the other departments of the company for the effective execution of the works.
• Manage the full cycle from request to order delivery and payment
• Build and maintain long term relationship with local and international suppliers, including performance monitoring.
• Technical understanding and coordination with the engineers and QA.
• Compliance with export control, defense regulations and quality standards.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree in a relevant field of education. 
• Experience in import and export.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical and electronic systems of vehicles.
• Team spirit, responsibility and consistency.
• fluent in English both verbally and written including technical terminology.
• Excellent knowledge of the use of computers and ERP programs.
• Communication and organizational skills.
• Experience in a similar position -t least 6 years).
• Experience in military vehicles will be valued.
